LaON has delivered and implemented large scale of 5GHz wireless intercom system in an oil drilling shipbuilding site for HYUNDAI SAMHO HEAVY INDUSTRIES CO., LTD.(‘HSHI’).

The main system includes 2 Base Stations, 100+ Belt Packs and 46 Remote Base Station - IP based repeater. HSHI has officially announced the industry-first installation of wireless intercom system in their shipbuilding site with their past challenges on communications inside the ship and remarkable improvements after the implementation. HSHI confirmed that a) the audio quality is excellent, b) with repeater system, there is no dead point of wireless coverage, 3) compact Beltpack with ear tube type headset do not bother workers and 4) there are big improvements on productivity and safety.
